AI built around the business of drinks.
Better Bartender is an AI-native intelligence platform for bars and drinks brands. Bespoke AI, structured reporting and hospitality expertise come together to make complex drinks data useful.
What is hospitality AI?
Hospitality AI applies models and automation to the information and decisions behind a venue’s operation. At Better Bartender, the focus is drinks: sales, product identity, account performance, menu decisions and the foundations for predicting demand.
The commercial question comes first. A bar operator may need to understand a change in contribution; a brand team may need to identify whether growth reflects more accounts or stronger sales within existing ones. Those questions require different views of connected evidence.
How does Better Bartender use AI?
Our approach combines AI-assisted data acquisition, structured product information and explicit analytical methods. The current setup service uses AI assistance to navigate POS reporting setup, with separate checks of saved settings. The broader product direction brings bespoke models to the challenge of interpreting inconsistent hospitality data.
Names, recipes, measures and reporting periods all matter. A generic “house gin” cannot establish a named brand by itself. We use that kind of boundary to define the job for the system: organise the evidence, identify what is resolved and make uncertainty visible where it affects a decision.
What does that mean for a bar?
A better view of trading, product mix and ingredient contribution. For example, £12,600 revenue from 1,050 recorded serves is £12 per serve. That number becomes useful when the team can compare it with quantities, discounts, recipe costs and the same trading days. Our weekly sales review shows how.

What does that mean for a drinks brand?
A sharper way to investigate distribution, account velocity, category movement and commercial opportunity. A larger total does not reveal whether growth came from new accounts or existing ones. Our distribution and rate-of-sale guide separates those questions.

Where does predictive intelligence fit?
Predictive engines are the next layer in our development programme: moving from an explanation of recorded performance towards better preparation for what comes next. Forecast quality must be tested on later, unseen periods against a simple baseline. Scenarios must keep their assumptions visible. Our forecasting guide explains the difference.
